Zundapp, what an icon

Whole tribes grew up with it. Very good quality and robust. Zundapp made cars, lawnmowers, motorcycles, sewing machines, but of course also the mopeds. Zundapp was founded in 1919, from 1964 only mopeds and small scooters were produced. In 1962, the KS-50 appeared, which was produced until the Zundapp factory was closed. This Zundapp KS-50 is produced in air-cooled forced cooling as liquid cooling.

New Types

In 1965, in addition to the KS-100, a four-speed RS-50 super appeared. One of the most famous Zundapp's is, of course, the GTS-50 and the KS-50, the water-cooled version. In the 1980s, the Hai 50 was released in a street version and an enduro version.

Bankruptcy

Zundapp Germany went to his soul in 1984, while that year the World Championship in the Eighty CC was still achieved! Because the production costs in Germany were high, together with the quality level, the Zundapp's had simply become too expensive. The Hondas and Yamahas were initially much cheaper, but after Zundapp's bankruptcy, they inflated their prices by as much as 70%. An investment in Zundapp now, however, is top notch. They are certainly not worth less. Zundapp still stands for driving pleasure and mileage of 100,000 are no exception.
