From Mobylette to MBK
Mobylette is a model of the French Motobecane (1922 to 1982) also known as Kaptein Mobylette. In 1989, Motobecane went bankrupt and was taken over by Yamaha. To this day, Yamaha's MBK is a direct reference to Motobecane or Mobylette. Many Mobylette mopeds have been sold under the Kaptein type. This two-stroke Mobylette sold a lot in the sixties. Often the Mobylette Kaptein was supplied with a front basket, of course the bicycle system should not be missing either. The reliable engine block of the captain Mobylette was not known as a strip puller. The appearance of the Mobylette was extremely beautiful, although the ignition coil was in sight. The Mobylette has already become a real collector's item, so precious!
Maintaining your captain mobylette vintage car.
If you have your Mobylette regularly in use and therefore drive quite a bit with it, it is important that it remains in perfect condition. Of course, it's already an older model of scooter and that's why parts break faster. You can maintain these parts and possibly extend the service life yourself thanks to the products that Zandri offers even more, so we have a number of products for maintenance and assembly.
