What is silicone spray? 

Silicone spray is a versatile lubricant used in many applications. It consists of silicone oil, dissolved in a solvent. This spray is known for its excellent lubricating and protective properties. Here are some applications for which you can use silicone spray: 

Lubricant for moving parts: Silicone spray provides a durable and smooth lubrication for various moving parts of your scooter or moped, such as locks, hinges and cables. 

Protection against corrosion: By forming a thin protective layer, silicone spray protects metal parts against rust and corrosion, even in humid conditions. 

Water repellent properties: Silicone spray can be used to make electrical contacts and wiring water resistant, reducing the risk of short circuits. 

Why use Teflon spray? 

Teflon spray, also known as PTFE spray (polytetrafluoroethylene), is a lubricant that works on the basis of a special type of plastic. Here are some benefits of using Teflon spray: 

Low Friction: Teflon spray provides excellent lubrication with very low friction. It ensures smooth movement of parts and reduces wear. 

Excellent temperature resistance: Teflon spray can withstand high temperatures, making it an ideal choice for parts that are exposed to heat, such as brake cables and throttle valves.
