Maintenance of this MKX chain lock

It is wise to maintain a chain lock regularly! The most common reason for malfunctioning of your scooter lock is dust. This is often almost invisible and very small, but strong enough to block any lock! We therefore always recommend Abus lock spray to keep the rotating parts of the cylinder and the locking terminals of your scooter lock moving. We also recommend buying a long chain lock (1.70m) so that you always have length enough to attach it to something, for example.
