The large ring ensures that you can use the lock in 2 ways. You can therefore easily pass the lock through the rim, instead of fidgeting with those links each time. Scooter with a thin spoke rim can also be easily locked with this MKX lock. The lock is also ART-4 approved and thus approved for most theft insurance of a motorcycle and/or scooter.
