This type of lock is a “disc lock” lock, or a disc brake lock.
What makes this type of lock attractive is that this is a very small (5.5 mm) and compact lock, which makes it easy to store and/or carry.
A disc brake lock is easy to assemble, you click it onto the brake disc.
Always try to mount the brake disc lock as close to the brake caliper as possible. As a result, the scooter cannot come from the center stand and you won't forget your disc brake lock.
Should you forget this, there is a risk of damage to your brake disc or brake caliper, in the worst case, your scooter may even fall over.
That is why we always recommend the use of a warning cord.
