Piaggio
Piaggio was founded in 1884 by Rinaldo Piaggio in Genoa, Italy. During the Second World War, Piaggio mainly produced military aircraft. After the war in 1946, the first scooter was built. Because of its slender line and soft hum they were called Wasp, Vespa in Italian. More than 15 million Vespas have been sold worldwide!
