Euro4 Plug and play

Mounting on the non-Euro4 models

With the old model (not Euro4), the lighting runs at AC voltage. If you want to mount led headlight, this MUST be DC voltage. This is possible by disconnecting the AC voltage at the control switch dim/high beam (grey wire). Make sure that the cut wire with a heat shrink/insulation tape is insulated with a heat shrink/insulation tape, this to prevent a short circuit. You strip the gray wire that runs to the switch so that another wire can be soldered on it, then pull a wire from the ignition switch upwards. With the ignition lock, this is the white wire (switched plus DC voltage) the wire that you have pulled upwards, you solder firmly onto the wire of the switch, because you insulate it neatly with a heat shrink able/insulation tape. Then your lighting should now light up when you turn on the ignition and you can control it from big to dim with the dim/high beam switch. If everything works, it is of course the most neat when you tap the extra wire in the wiring harness. If you don't figure it out, please call our mounting helpline.
