Side stand scooter

Do you sometimes have trouble parking your scooter? Maybe a side stand scooter is for you. A scooter is a heavy object and with a side stand it is easy to park without the need for a lot of power. A light movement with your foot is enough to be able to park the scooter. The side stand is also easy to assemble. Ideal right?

Difference between a center stand scooter and a side stand scooter

There are a few differences between a center stand and a side stand scooter. One person is more fan of a center buck scooter and the other of a side stand scooter. We are happy to list the differences between a center stand scooter and a side stand scooter for you. The center stand is not easy to use, as you have to get off the motorcycle and apply a lot of energy and power to push the central stand down. Middle bucks are now more often mounted on scooters and other small volume motorcycles, as they make it easier to park scooters with lighter motorcycles than larger ones. With a side stand, your scooter is often more stable because the scooter has several contact points that are further apart from each other. A central stand has contact points that are closer to each other. With a side stand, on a soft surface, there is a chance that the scooter will slip and eventually fall over. The larger the foot of the side stand, the less the chance of slipping. Furthermore, the center stand clicks itself up by default and the side stand needs an extra push of the foot. The center stand is most convenient when the scooter is parked for service, repair or maintenance. While the side stand is preferred for quick and easy parking, preference is given to the mid-standard when parking on soft ground or at maintenance and repair of the scooter. Parking with the side stand does not take much time and can even be done while you are on the motorcycle. You can also prevent storm damage to the scooter with a side stand. Always place the scooter against the wind. Are you planning to park the scooter for a longer period of time? The middle stand will be more appropriate in that case. The center stand will keep most of the weight of the scooter off its tires.
