To prevent theft of your beloved scooter or moped, it is important to secure your scooter as well as possible. When attempting to dispose of your scooter from you, the front wheel will block through the ART-4 disc brake lock and make it virtually impossible to drive the scooter away. An Art class 4 disc brake lock is almost always insurance approved for the scooter. This lock comes with a handy warning cord and storage bag!
You attach the disc brake lock to the brake disc, always try to do this as close to the brake caliper as possible. Should you forget the disc brake lock, the scooter cannot get rid of the stand and you will still find out. If you have mounted your disc brake lock further away from the brake caliper and you forget about the lock, there is a good chance that you will damage the brake caliper /brake disc and often even overturn your scooter or moped. That is why we advise you to always use the warning cord.
