What does a scooter sprayer do?
The carburetor of the scooter does not function optimally until the sprayer mixes the right amount of gasoline with the right amount of air. The shape and diameter of the spray hole determine the passage of fuel. The good sprayer thus ensures a well-adjusted atomization of the fuel, so that the combustion is as efficient as possible. We have different sizes of nozzles in the range. Think of a small sprayer and large sprayer, but we also sell scooter nozzles of various brands and qualities.
Replacement sprayer scooter
You only replace the scooter's sprayer when you make an adjustment to your engine. With a 2-stroke engine, you can check the combustion by looking at the color of the spark plug. A good burn can be recognized by a coffee brown color. In case of too chapped combustion, the head of the spark plug is white. The sprayer will then have to be enlarged. When an engine is adjusted too rich (not the right amount of fuel) you will see soot stop on the spark plug.
Scooter sprayer too small or too big
If you are going to change the sprayer of your scooter or moped yourself, it's important to use the right sprayer and tools. We do not recommend filing and bending parts for your scooter or moped; it often causes technical problems and safety risks. If you are stepping up your scooter, or when you have placed a different exhaust, it is sometimes smart to install a larger sprayer. To determine the correct size sprayer, we also have different nozzles sets for 4 stroke and 2 stroke.
