When does a cylinder need to be replaced?
A cylinder of Airsal, for example, is an essential part of your Tomos. A cylinder is in need of replacement if there is a scratch or bumper in the wall, so the Tomos cylinder loses compression. Compression is the compression of the fuel/air mixture in the cylinder. With no or hardly any compression, the engine of your Tomos moped will no longer start or ride badly. A scratch or bumper is a palpable unevenness in the cylinder wall. As a result, if you replace only the piston; this new piston can also immediately damage your Tomos moped!
