If you replace them, but not the part they wear out against, for example, a lot can go wrong. This can cause serious engine damage. In addition, a clutch kit for the GY6 motors is often cheaper than all parts separately.

So it's smart to replace the complete coupling if you have the chance. For your convenience, we have also added some tools that you will need to (dis) assemble the coupling. The coupling of a GY6 engine block is something that we know is a weak point and therefore breaks down a bit more often. Of course, this depends on how many kilometers you have driven the scooter, but in many cases it is recommended to replace the V-belt and rollers directly with the clutch. This is because you still have the engine block open, then it has been replaced immediately.
