Why do I need to replace my NGK spark plug?

If the spark plug fails, the engine will run irregularly. This causes a lot of wear and damages the engine. The engine is also unable to provide enough power to drive normally. It is therefore wise to replace the spark plug during maintenance. This is because it is important that the spark plug provides a good spark.

Replacing an NGK spark plug

Replace the ngk spark plug with a spark plug wrench. The ngk BR7HS spark plug has a diameter of 14 mm and a wrench size of 21 mm. The advice is to coat the wire end with copper grease. Never turn a spark plug too tight at 10-12nm. Most spark plug failures are caused by the wrong torque. If the torque is too low, it is possible that the spark plug will lose compression and overheat. When a spark plug is tightened too tightly, the spark plug can collapse due to pressure. This can cause damage to the spark plug and engine.
