There can be a number of reasons for this: - Your scooter suddenly stops in the middle of a ride and doesn't start afterwards. (electric starter does nothing.) - Your scooter won't start anymore. - You want to return or boost your scooter.

First, the difference between the CDs of two-stroke scooters and those of four-stroke scooters:

A CDI has no influence on the scooter's top speed during a two-stroke. A CDI does affect the scooter's top speed during a four-stroke. In the case of a four-stroke, a CDI does affect top speed, but this is not the only factor. Top speed also has to do with things like your variator ring or gasoline air setup. So, for example, if your scooter runs 60 km/h, it doesn't mean you can make it run 45 km/h again with just replacing the CDI. So always keep that in mind!

Assembly and return

It is also necessary to connect all the CDI cables, which are of course attached for a reason. Otherwise, the CDI will most likely not receive good nutrition and will therefore not work. In addition, all CDs are new and are tested for functioning in the factory and are only shipped if they are fully functional. So it never happens that a defective CDI has been sent to you. It is also the case that some scooters combine the ignition coil and CDI in 1 part, so when these scooters stop working, it may be due to 2 parts. At the ignition coil or at the CDI, but because they are combined, both of them will no longer be able to do their jobs. Attention!! CDs cannot be returned because it is an electronic product. It is also the case when there is a short circuit in the scooter that this can immediately result in the “inflating” of the new CDI unit. So always make sure you know which CDI you need!
