Your odometer no longer works or you want to install a different type. There are multiple types, a mechanical counter, and an electronic counter. The electronic one works with a magnet in the rim, so the system measures how often the wheel rotates (along with the diameter of your wheel) and converts that to a speed that appears on your display. So this version has a sensor. Then we also have the mechanical counter, which is on most scooters, mopeds and motorcycles. This works with a counter cable, which contains an angular cable that sits in your front wheel axle, connected to your cockpit. It also converts revolutions, but now it's just the revolutions of the cable, instead of the wheel.
