You disassemble the spark plug and put it back into the spark plug cap, then hold the spark plug against the cylinder head and kick on your moped or scooter, or try to start electric and then you get a shock because you just had the spark plug attached incorrectly. How to use this spark plug spark tester?

You hold the spark plug spark tester pin against your spark plug (while the spark plug is simply mounted in your cylinder head and the spark plug cap and cable are also connected.) and then try to start. If you hold the pin properly on the spark plug, you should see the light flashing. Always try this a few times. Both with kickstarter and electric starter, provided you have it. If you don't have a spark, your spark plug, spark plug cap, spark plug cable (or maybe even your ignition) is faulty. When in doubt, always start checking the spark plug.
