Transmission (including bearing set) Pinasco Piaggio Ciao, Boss, SI, Grillo, Bravo, Superbravo is required for conversion to variator

The Pinasco gearbox cover enables the conversion of a moped housing with fixed pulley to variomatic.
In addition to this cover, the following is required

• Gearbox for Vario operation (e.g. CIF, Malossi or original Piaggio for Vario)

• Variomatic (e.g. Malossi)

• V-belt for Vario operation

• Rear converter unit

• Engine cover for Vario

• Cycle gear / lever (can be taken from mono gearbox)

The great advantage of the variator is that it utilizes the full engine power from the first meter. The transmission ratio is changed continuously and the speed remains constant at the speed selected by the mass of the centrifugal weights. This massively improves acceleration compared to the fixed moped transmission. Wheelies and a high top speed are now possible.
