What does an ignition do?

Your ignition coil creates the spark for the spark plug, which in turn ignites your fuel-air mixture. But this spark must be made at the right time! This is what your ignition is taking care of! This causes the spark to come the moment your piston (with the fuel-air mixture above) is at the top dead center. There the spark plug sparks and due to the blow of the explosion, your piston moves down again. All this happens while you use the electric starter or kick starter on your scooter. That's all pretty smart, right? So your ignition is broken, your scooter will not start in any way! Then you will always have to order a new one.
