The drive nut is CNC machined from titanium grade 5 (3.7164).
and has a weight of 17g !
The usual scribe nuts on the market have in part a weight of 100g + or are made of aluminum !
The titanium nut is not only felt indestructible and guarantees a very long thread life ,
but also protects the crankshaft and bearing seats in the housing.
A drive nut that weighs far more than 30g should not be used because of the rotating mass & the exposed installation location
at the outermost end of the crankshaft, if one's crankshaft and/or bearing seat is dear.
Especially with tuned and high-revving engines, this can quickly lead to damage !
The new improved V2 version can be mounted with a 30mm open-end wrench or a 32mm nut.
