Help choosing mirrors

Mirrors

Mirrors on a scooter or moped are not just for aesthetics! They are essential for your own safety as well as for other road users. When overtaking and making turns, you need a mirror. Mirrors can be adjusted longitudinally using the bolt or nut with which they are mounted. You can adjust the height by tilting the mirrors. When adjusting your mirrors, it is best not to put the scooter on the center stand.

Which mirrors are suitable for your scooter?

There are a large number of mirrors available, but not all mirrors are suitable for every scooter. Two factors determine whether a mirror fits: the diameter of the mirror's threaded screw and the direction of rotation! You can use the filters on the left side of the page to make the right choice. Technical drawings are also a very reliable decision-making aid (bottom left).

Different qualities of mirrors

In our range of mirrors, we have a wide variety of different brands. The difference in quality often lies in the chrome and plastic materials used. Factory originals are always the best mirrors but also the most expensive. Quality B mirrors are more prone to rust and may also break if the scooter falls. The mirrors that we consider to be quality A are the closest to the original in terms of finishing level.

Pay close attention to the direction of rotation of your mirror's threaded screw, tighten the mirror with sensitivity and precision. It is also advisable to apply  copper grease to the mirrors during installation so that they do not become extremely stuck and do not break when replaced.
