Why do you drive a motorized vehicle? To move forward and just turn the throttle handle for that. A smooth movement of the wrist and you move forward! This is only possible when there is a throttle cable between the throttle and the carburetor. These are sometimes type and brand specific, but often also universally applicable. The throttle cable has an inner cable and an outer cable. The inner cable does the heavy lifting and the outer cable protects the inner cable from excessive wear and the factors such as dirt and weather.
