This electrical switch connects your brake lever to your brake light. When your scooter is on contact and you pull your brake, your brake light should come on. Only then can you start the scooter, if your China/Retro Gy6/Sym Mio does not start, this could be due to the brake light switch, or your rear light! If no light comes on on the left brake as the right brake, probably only the light is defective.
