Brake fluid Castrol Brake Fluid DOT4 1 liter

Castrol Brake Fluid DOT4 is a high boiling point synthetic brake fluid that
exceeds the requirements of the SAE J1703, SAE J1704, FMVSS 116 DOT 4, ISO 4925 and JIS K 2233 specifications. Castrol Brake
Fluid DOT4 is designed for use in all braking systems subject to extreme
conditions.

Applications

Castrol Brake Fluid DOT4 is a formulation based on mixed polyalkylene glycol lethers and
borate esters with carefully selected additives and corrosion protectors that
provide ultimate protection against the effects of corrosion and vapour lock.
The formulation has been developed in such a way that the “vapour lock” point is at a higher level than
conventional glycol ether based liquids.

Castrol Brake Fluid DOT4 is fully miscible with other brake fluids complying with the
FMVSS 116 DOT 3 and DOT 4 standards, to maintain the high performance characteristics it is
not recommended to mix this product with other brake fluids.
All conventional brake fluids deteriorate during operation. It is recommended that Castrol Brake
Fluid DOT4 be replaced according to manufacturer's instructions. If no regulations
are present, it is recommended to replace the brake fluid every 2 years.
As with all brake fluids based on glycol ethers, this product should not come into contact with
lacquers and other paintwork because it may have a harmful effect. If this is the
case, rinse the surface immediately with water. Do not wipe.

Usage conditions

Castrol Brake Fluid DOT4 should not be used in braking systems for which mineral oil based products
are recommended.
