Which windshield fits your scooter?

The range of windshields is extensive and varied, with each scooter having a different windshield type. You can use the filters on the left side of the page to see which type of windshield is suitable for your scooter brand and model.

Different qualities of windshields

In our range, we offer a wide variety of windshields from different brands. The quality difference lies in the thickness of the windshield and the fit. With a quality B windshield, the installation may take more time as it often requires additional bending of mounting brackets. Quality B windshields are often installed under tension, making them more prone to tearing.

Cross-tightening of the mounting bolts is crucial for proper fitment of any windshield.

Both original and imitation windshields need to be assembled with sensitivity and precision.

Original quality: Provides a perfect fit, often with slightly better plastic quality, and includes an installation manual.

Quality A: Slightly better plastic quality than Quality B, with a fit slightly inferior to the original.

Quality B: Made with slightly cheaper plastic, with a fit slightly inferior to the original but better compared to Quality A.

The choice between a smoked or clear windshield

A windshield that is both transparent and smoked provides protection from cold wind, insects, and rain. It is not surprising to see many scooters riding with a windshield. A smoked windscreen not only looks stylish but also serves as a sunshade, acting like a large pair of sunglasses. The drawback of the smoked option is that it reduces visibility in low-light conditions. If you are unsure whether to choose smoked or clear, it is best to consider whether you primarily ride during the day or at night. If you mainly ride during the day, you can opt for the smoked option. If you frequently ride in low-light or nighttime conditions, the clear windshield is a better choice.

Windshield Installation Tips

It is important to ensure that you do not over-tighten the supports and the windshield during installation. When fastening the screws, make sure to tighten them enough to hold the windshield in place, but avoid over-tightening. If you tighten them too much, the windshield will be subjected to excessive tension, which can lead to tearing or, in the worst case, detachment of the windshield from the handlebar. We recommend regularly checking if the windshield is securely attached. Additionally, applying copper grease is always recommended to facilitate installation and prevent corrosion.
