Why does the NGK MR8BI-8 need to be replaced?

In the event of a bad spark from the spark plug, this causes irregular running of the engine. This causes a lot of wear and it damages the engine. Also, the engine cannot provide enough power to drive normally. We recommend replacing the spark plug during every service! It is important that the spark plug gives a good spark.

Replacing the NGK MR8BI-8 Spark Plug

You replace the ngk spark plug with a spark plug wrench. The NGK MR8BI-8 spark plug has a diameter of 10mm and a key size of 16mm. Advice is to grease the wire end with copper grease. Never overtighten the NGK MR8BI-8 spark plug at 10-12nm.

Most spark plug failures are caused by a wrong tightening torque. If the torque is too low, it is possible that there is compression loss and overheating of the spark plug. If the NGK MR8BI-8 spark plug is tightened too tightly, the spark plug may collapse due to pressure. This can cause damage to the spark plug and engine.
