The air filter of a scooter/moped/engine is the breathing center of the internal combustion engine. An engine needs gasoline and air, for the air the engine needs an air filter to “breathe”

If an internal combustion engine does not have an air filter, the dirt gets into the inlet, resulting in problems. Therefore, always make sure that your air filter is clean and/or replaced once in a while. That is about 1500 kilometers once, then after 2500 kilometers each time.

Replace the air filter element in time. If you replace it too late or not, sand and dirt can be sucked into the engine! This can mean an end of exercise for the engine block!
