The air filter of a scooter/moped/engine is the breathing center of the combustion engine. An engine needs gasoline and air; for the air, the engine needs an air filter to “breathe”.
When an internal combustion engine does not have an air filter, it often runs very difficult. Therefore, always make sure that your air filter is clean and/or replaced once in a while. That is just about 1500 kilometers once, then after 2500 kilometers each time.
